281XP front mountings

Who knows? Should it be front rubber bushings in holes of the tank? There are steel spring from outside for vibration insulation, but holes for rubber insulators stay empty on my saw. Otherwords, must be 4 or 6 rubber bushings on the Husqvarna 281XP? Thanks.

You can put rubber or springs in there.

There is one spring near the spikes. Is it enough or it is necessary to put two rubbers or springs in the front end of tank?

Do you have the external spring from the 288 on this saw? If so, you don't use a front tank AV.

You saw would have come originally with no front mounts in the tank at the front.....Only the large coil spring mount.

Like nmurph said, the screw in mounts are optional....Many guys use them in addition to the big spring mount.

I like to add the rubber ones in the front. I didn't like all springs around them. Too mushy feeling with a regular weight 32" bar.

Just impossible to find what AV system should be from Husqvarna factory. But it seem will be ok 4 rubbers and one large spring.
