Who is the best arborist in the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly one who will examine a tree in the Menlo Park / Palo Alto area?
The entire story is linked at the bottom of this question, but the basic gist is that we've had an arborist advise us that our 50+ year old very large black walnut tree needs to be removed from the back yard of our Menlo Park / Palo Alto area home. We'd like to get a second opinion both because the tree is beautiful (we don't want to remove it) and because the expense of removing it may be very high ($5,000 +).
Who's the best arborist in the SF Bay Area for something like this?
