Company I work for recently got a lightly used 3120. It ran fine when we got it after I adjusted the L for the higher altitude. After a few uses it now run so rich it dies, floods and cannot restart. I was thinking it could be the metering needle. I pulled it and looked at it, nothing obviously wrong, but I know they need to seal perfectly to work. Air filter was soaked with mix gas oil, I rinsed it out with pure gas. Anything else I should test or check?

your metering lever is either set way to high, your gasket and metering diaphragm are mixed up (gasket against carb body is correct), or a combo of both even. what do you have your low speed out to now?
