i am having troubles with replacing the throttle cable on my husky 3120xp..do i need to rip the saw apart?seems like a big job for a minor part..also a pic of how it connects to trigger end..any help is appreciated. thx

You don't have to tear the whole saw apart but you do need to drop the tank/rear handle assembly down far enough to access the trigger and under the rear side of the case enough to work the cable out. It has kind of a strange fitting on the trigger that it attaches to on that end, and then goes up through the case and wraps over the top of the intake manifold.
