335 husky chasis

Will the engine of a 335 fit in the chasis of a 334 or 338? Maybe with alterations? Anybody out there know?

do you mean chassis as in plastic case or it AND the crankcase?I believe the fact that the intake boot is different may be a problem, not sure. But i think the plastic cases are the same.....

Yeah, the chassis is the plastic part that the engine rides inside by the suspension. How much different is the rubber boot?

I think the case shape where the intake boot is attached is the same on both saws. I doubt if there's any other differences.
