the search seems lost right now, so i'll look here for the type coil in my 365sp. it is blue, not sure of the year, '07 or '08, mainly want to know if it is a limited coil and if so what rpm does it start to break up. should i keep this one if it's limited or get an unlimited one?
how do you tune the high speed jet on a limited coil without getting it too lean?
thanks, allyn

As Komatsuvarna say's and it is also written on the coil

thanks komatsuvarna & w8ye, now those numbers make some sense.
blsnelling-while looking for a black coil on the bay, i saw my 350 uses the same coil. luckily it is black but the plug lead looks short for the 365. how are the plug wires fixed in the coil, screwed in ? i'm thinking a swap for tuning purposes then return it to the 350 which i'll use mostly anyway, no ?

The coil wire does screw in. Don't know if I am a fan of the idea of using one coil for tuning and one for running, but it would probably work. I would personally prefer to tune a saw with the parts it will be using. I have heard the best way to tune a saw with a limited coil is while you are in a cut or the saw just "bounces" off the limiter, which can be mistaken as "4 stroking".

I made an error on the MFG date of the saw? It was made the 2nd week of 07?

roanoker494-i'll unscrew the wire rather than screw up.lol- thanks.
this is the first limited coil i've had so i'll tune my ear to it's sound vs. the 4 stroking i'm familiar with. i'll tune it in the cut, may not even hit the limiter while loaded.
w8ye-2nd week of 07 sounds like a good vintage. i saw all those numbers, like the 2006 on the coil and the 08 & 07 on the tag and i got :dizzy:
