Bosch [ake 30 Li 36V] is coming out with their lightweight 36V Chainsaw. Over 100 limbs per charge. This could be a nice option for a tree climber who is not a full professional.

If Powersharp and Bosch could hook up, then I think it could be a good option.

Since you would have 36V, you could pick up their torque wrench and take lug nuts off cars almost as fast as they do at the race track. [Of coarse you are only doing this to your own cars]

Cost of this saw would be interesting.

Production Delay Feb 2011

Looks like a production delay and it is only sold in Europe as of right now . . . sold out.

11.24 lbs VS MS 200 is 7.7 lbs, but you need to add the bar and chain, gas and oil, so it could come out pretty close.

There's already several Makita/Dolmar ones, but if you can believe the website they lack chain speed.

I've checked the pricing on these in Australia a few months ago and I can import a new 200T from the states for what the top end battery powered setups are worth here. Might be handy in suburbia though where everybody whines about the noise that Arborists make :)
