I usually have to do a cut back once, twice a year but I went heavy duty this time round. :)

The redbox in the front yard had to come down due to the longihorn beetle. :mad:That was the first tree I planted here when we bought the place. :cry:

Longicorn Beetles suck. As discussed last weekend mate they are becoming a real problem nearly everywhere I've looked. Yet to see any damage in Tasmania but everywhere else on the mainland it's an issue. I think that the old Fig Longicorn Beetle is the main culprit - it has a vast array of hosts.
 
Not really mate. I've never really felt the need for a smaller saw except for the pruning at home. There was a fella who had a blown 346 that had no idea what he was going to do with it but wouldn't let go of it. A little 137 or 142 will do around the house.

I'm forgetting where you live... Here in Sweden 50cc is the norm.
