image.jpg I bought a 372 XP at an estate sale of an arborist. Very clean saw, started and ran perfectly. Looking at it once I got home I noticed it leaked bar oil from around the cap. I had a new cap and put it on but it still leaked. Upon further inspection I saw that the case was slightly bent or pushed in. Where it should be round it is flat. Is there any way to correct this other than a new case half?

You lost your seal for the cap with the edge rubber, so now you need to find an o-ring or rubber flat washer that fits the cap perfectly to seal against the bottom of the opening like the older husky saws.
An oil cap from an older CD Husqvarna saw will fit and seal it. You may need to plug the vent holes.
