Ok.. put about an hour of cut time on the 545. What a great little saw. Revs quick, plenty of cutting power (even with the 20" bar) and lite enough to carry all day. This may be the ultimate firewood saw.

On another note.. got the saw bench cleaned up

They are great little saws, I don't notice the difference between the 545 and a 550, maybe it would show up more with a long bar, but an 18 is all I usually run on the 550.
Bench is looking good.

I went with Gary and duces click theory.. manual said 4 clicks, so I did 5 just to be safe.
So how many turns does your adjustment make going all the way closed to all the way open?

Seems to be oiling properly. When I pull up on the chain, nice coat of oil on the drive links. But not making a mess like it was originally.
That's because even though you have a 28" bar you are cutting 10" wood. Bury the bar for a few cuts and report back.
