390xp how to tell what bar/chain to use

Hi all, I apologize for this very beginner question. I have a 3120xp that I've been using fairly regularly and I've done a small amount of troubleshooting on other homeowner grade saws. I purchased a 390xp powerhead on here and I have no idea how to figure out what bar/chain to get. The sprocket reads 3/8-7. I get that it's a 3/8 pitch but how do you determine what gauge chain it should take?

The powerhead will run any gauge of chain. Match the bar and chain gauge, and the drive sprocket and bar tip sprocket pitch.
