395XP questions

A few 395 questions for the group.
Just took her apart to lengthen the recoil rope , change sprocket and give her a good cleaning look over.

Going to a 3/8 24" from the .404 36" for now.

1. Any reason not to remove and plug the decomp ?

2. Torque spec. on the clutch and muffler? (Not just gudentight, lol)

Clutch will self tighten. ..so..hand tight.

Muffler bolts....uh uh.....uh. that tight

Why would you want to plug the compression release?

Why would you want to plug the compression release?

I was thinking one less thing to break and really not needed, then someone pointed out that without it there is more stress on the starter components.

I'd leave the decomp. I like them, and remember that you won't be so young one day.
