Received a craftsman 2.3/16 inch chainsaw from my dad. All I did was replaced the fuel line, put in fresh gas/oil mix at 16:1, cleaned and regaped the plug according to manual. It started on second pull. It still has plenty of power. Took it to have the chain sharpened, at a reputable shop. The person that did the work told me that the saw was well taken care of and should last another 10 years if taken care of. He said it will run fine on 40:1. Just needed a good cleaning, and minor adjustments. Never touched the carb.
