Hey guys haven't posted in a while. Anyway I have a 2014 562 with a new piston and cylinder and the new EL48 carb. I have been running it without the bar and chain and it runs great top end but dies after about 3 seconds when idled down. It will keep running forever on high idle. Decompression valve is tight. I watched Mitch video could the spring in the carb be the problem? Any ideas?

Not exactly sure. I bought it from a guy I know. I work at a husky dealer but we send our work to a mechanic. He was having trouble with hot starts on it. Somehow it got a new piston, cylinder, and tank vent. Piston looks great. Maybe I just need to run it long enough to reset the auto tune.

best bet is do a vac and pressure test on it since its recently been built it may have an air leak from that. often when a saw will run wot but die at soon as it goes back to idle its an air leak.
