I wouldn't put a nylon caged bearing in a 372 when excellent Steel caged bearings are available for less money number one even if it did fit. Also the seal arrangement for 372's has been more than adequate so where is the gain, even if it did work.
nope, 576 bearing is 1mm wider, 12mm vs 11mmIs the 576 bearing the same width?

That's what I was afraid of. Then the 576 bearing won't work on either side of a 372.nope, 576 bearing is 1mm wider, 12mm vs 11mm
I have no idea. I've never worked on a 576.Brad what do you think about the case stuffers off the 576 possibly fitting a 372 crank?
Think about it a minute, if its 1 mm wider that's not going to matter since you wont need that extra surface area to hold a seal! One place where this would come in handy is like already posted: when you blow out the crankcase and it wont hold a seal anymore on a 372 and yes Ive had that happen. I ended up buying a set of AM case halves but it would have been cheaper and simpler to use the different bearing if I had only thought of trying that. That's what I was afraid of. Then the 576 bearing won't work on either side of a 372.
As far as I can tell when comparing them. I have not measured though.

YesWhen you say “xt” do you mean x-torq?
The clutch won't be spaced out correctly.Think about it a minute, if its 1 mm wider that's not going to matter since you wont need that extra surface area to hold a seal!
I’ve never seen stuffers in an XT. Just tore two apart last week. Am I missing something?
Im gonna have to tear into one and see Im afraid. How can the clutch spacing change if we are still using the 575/576 crank? The clutch won't be spaced out correctly.
Because the bearing is wider and the clutch is spaced off the bearing. How can the clutch spacing change if we are still using the 575/576 crank?
