660 stihl problem

Hey guys i just put together an 660 and now that its running the starter side is making a kind of roaring noise ...i oiled the crap out of the bearings and theres no movement in them....could it be something else.....

I would check to make sure the flywheel isn't rubbing on anything.

I would check to make sure the flywheel isn't rubbing on anything.

That's my thought- the air dam is rubbing on the flywheel. It will make a roaring sound, especially with those polymer flywheels.
