So, Boise CL has a 661, 36” bar and grandburg fs for what I believe is a reasonable price. I don’t really need another 661 but for the price may pick it up as an investment.

I wanted a big stihl for milling as I already have a 461 but got a decent deal on a husky 3120 with 42” bar and it works great with the granberg 36” mill. Keep in mind the mill eats up roughly 6” of bar when mounting, the husky with a 42” bar and the dogs removed maxes out the mill with a touch of room to spare.
What size and type of wood are you considering milling?

Absolutely! That’s an appropriate saw for milling. You’ll have an 880 and 6’ mill in no time!! It is addictive!
