What is the diff. between the 670 champ, 670 super, and the super II. A friend and I are arguing and we will let my peers be the judge.

Year of production. Little piston porting?? Super can have old chain brake. I thought Super II is same as CHAMP. After winning awards begin 90's it's called CHAMP. Some say squish on CHAMP is better, I'm not sure about that.

Two coils in the Super to one coil in the Super II and Champ. Yes they won something and started calling the Super II the "Champ", want to say mid 90's.

are all the parts interchangeable ? I had a 630 super and a 670 II in the day. I remembering them both being good saws.

Some had Gilardoni cylinders, some were Mahle, externally a little different but internally the same from the one I had on the bench earlier in the week.
