I need a ripping chain for a 980 oiympyk with a 32 inch bar. I don't know how many drive links or where to buy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Check your bar, is probably stamped on the tail. If there is a chain on it, just count the DLs.

I called bailey's. They said they didn't have any bars or chains for a 980 olympyk.

It is the same as lge mount Husky.

They have chain, you just need to give them the type, the pitch (.375 or .404), the gauge (.050, .058 or .063) and the DL count.

If it`s the same as the european 980 [the1 I have runs an Oregon 196 bar or equiv & although they only recommend a max 27 inch bar length] some other paperwork I have comes up with a 105 x 3/8 DL for a 32 inch bar.Sorry but I have no info for 404 chain.I cannot say if this is correct as I`ve not tried it.
