One of my many nephews lost a nice Husqvarna 357xp out of the back of his truck a few weeks ago. He took off with the tailgate down...drives like a bat outa hell. When he realized what he had done his saw had fallen out of the truck. He rode back the way he had come and it was gone already.

After two or three weeks he had given up on finding his saw. He was coming around hoping I could stir up a good deal for him to replace his saw.

Yesterday his wife was listening to a radio station she normally doesn't and on the swap shop some guy says he found a chainsaw in the area. Charlie calls the guy up and after describing his saw the guy tells him yep that's it come on over!!!!

There are some good guys left in this old world.

That guy deserves a good steak dinner or a pickup load of firewood or somethin.

He is a lucky guy. I almost lost one of my 266's that way. Had cut a small load of wood for camping and decided to go home. When I got home my tailgate was down and my saw was sitting on it! Some of the wood was gone but not the saw. I had closed it in the woods and have no idea when it reopened. The drive was about 10 miles of dirt and 40 miles of highway. I now check and recheck that it is closed.

I just talked to Charlie (my nephew) for a few minutes out of the truck window about this...but he's a good guy...I'm sure he tried to give the guy that found his saw something. The most amazing part of this story is in the fact that here where we live the low grade pill heads out number to working folks two to one. :bang::bang::bang:
