about selling custom carbs

heres one for you all. how bout some saw builder has a good knowen 562 or other saw with inherent carb issues and resale modded carbs that have been tested on the said saw? saw carb cost 100 then cut spring and mess with plate and metering arm and have a good working tested carb you can resell for 200. i would sure buy them, it aint worth the headache to save money.

That sounds like something a saw manufacturer could do. Or should do?

Tree monkey was/is doing that with the hda-199's, 'cept it was only about $30 on an exchange basis.
Would that even be feasible on a microprocessor controlled fuel system like autotune?
