Advice On a Saw

I ran a 435 the other day, and I cant get over just how light they are. But I still say go with a 261 considering your options. IMO.

The 346XP is a great saw but here in Canada it prices out almost $200 more all in than the MS261, and right now the Stihl includes an extra chain and carrying case. Husqvarna Canada charges a huge premium on their XP line over here.

I don't know if you've looked at any Dolmars joed, but the PS-5105 goes for about $520 here before taxes and feels more nimble than the MS261. Might be something to consider and if you don't mind an extra pound and wish to save a few bucks there is the PS-510 which is around $430.

A month back, got a factory refurb 455r 20"b&c, $306 f.o.b. my door, through VMInnovations.

New b&c in the box. I see many hours' quality time with this saw in the years ahead.

Yes, that was US THREE HUNDRED and SIX. Dunno what they do w/sales up north.
