are aftermarket pistons and jugs easier to score among other inadequacies?

i've used two AM pistons, one was in a ms290 and the other is in a husky 262 and it's owned by a firewood cutter and he is the toughest SOB on saws so far it's ran two full days of torture with no problems yet... (knock on wood) hehe
