i'm needing a starter cover for my 372XP , thought about buying a aftermarket? any one use a aftermarket and have good luck?

They are not as durable as oem one, but can work.
would recommend always use deco valve to start to put less strain on starter as it will be inferior

I have several 372s with aftermarket pull starts on them.So far so good but I have one that was bad from the git go.There is a seller on ebay that sells covers that have black bars on them. They seem to be made of better plastic.

On ebay you're buying from several different vendors and manufacturers so it's no surprise that some on here say that ebay parts are junk while others have no problem. I generally keep a list of those who I buy from and would buy from again..
