I sold two MS250s locally in Missouri, and the best I could get was $150 each. They were both only about a year old at the time.
The easy starts didn't fail, people just didn't like 'em. I can't say I like them either.Stihl seems to hold its value in Wisconsin. More of a homeowner saw. Why do the easy starts fail is it due to improper use or bad design? It is so easy to start this saw.

We've had a few older gentlemen that came into the shop looking for an easy start to buy but nobody ever wanted them changed over to an easy start. Many people who have an easy start don't know how to properly use them and think they're defective when they're not. They might be good for someone who is weakened because of old age or injury but I question whether they should be using a chain saw.That’s interesting I used it an think it’s the easiest starting / most user friendly saw. It would be great for a homeowner or someone with bad shoulders.
