An interesting take down.

I finally made the unpopular decision to take down the kids favorite play tree. There is a little to much lean like you will see and about 9 good inches of wood (so the tree at the base was 4 foot by 9 inches deep holding all that mass). Those old maples are tough. All but the main truck rounds are split. A nice afternoon. The metal detector worked well finding the boys nails...
