Another tree ID question

Yep, another one. Found this one down in my back field today. Looks like it was rotten, then the wind finished the job. Any ideas what it is?

Hard maple!

Acer species. Maple. The leaves look a bit odd but I can see it has the winged seeds. I'm not real familiar with emerging leaves of the sugar maple. I would rule out the silver maple though.
