Anybody own an electric Ramsplitter?

I'm thinking of buying a 16 ton electric splitter made by Ramsplitter. I see a couple old posts on the board but nothing recent. Anybody have any experience with this product?

Did you see my posts? I was going to buy one and after looking into what other people had to say I went with Northern. Still not sure if that was the right thing.

If you want a electric splitter just buy a used gas one and switch out the gas engine with a electric one. Look in the thread: Northern gas/electric on how I did it.

I just bought a 25 ton horizontal with the 8hp honda from ramsplitter. Order to delivery was about 2.5 weeks. I have split about 2-3 cord with it and no problems at all. Filled it full of fluids and split away. no heat issues and it feels very strong with large curley hard rock maple! Go for it. just my .02
