Nope,

I have an old CR (Chicago Rawhide) cross reference from '04. Haven't come across a seal that can't be crossed to a current seal.

All you need is bore, shaft and width dimensions.

Here's one that couldn't be crossed, 23.8 x 33.4 x 4 mm. It's a PTO side seal for a Stihl 056, part number #9640 003 2690 (S045 was #9639 003 2690)

So the 056 has nearly a 1" shaft?
23.8 Millimeter = 0.9370078740157366 Inch
Book is on my desk at work I will check tonight.
