Anyone transported a chainsaw in commercial checked baggage?

I leave tank open for a few days to dry up any fuel left over and use tissue or something to wipe inside oil tank as much as possible and also let it drip out as much as I can. Then bag it with garbage bag to keep any seepage at limit any smell

use coffee grounds to hide smell??

Thought the same thing but then coffee grounds may cause suspicion for another reason.

I use dryer sheets to make them smell pretty

Cleaned the saw throughly, baked it in the sun, before packing it up. Spoke to TSA when I checked my bag, and they said it sounded OK, but would examine it. Put my phone number with a note of the packaged saw, just in case.
