I have the Brave VH0634 Vertical / Horizontal Log Splitter, and I haven't been able to stop it with the Pondrosa Pine I've been splitting. Mine has the 9hp Honda engine, and it always starts on the first pull. We've had it now for a bit over a year, and as far as I'm concerned, it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Although I have no knowledge of the of the unit you want, here is the spec sheet on it from Brave.
