Arbor shops Madison, WI / Chicago

Does anyone know of a good place to get arborist supplies in these towns or between them? I will be working in Madison and Chicago this weekend and would like to check out and get some stuff. Thanks.

Isn't there a member (sponsor, Cutting Edge?) here that sells outdoor equipment near Rockford, IL? Might want to look him up and contact him.

I'm north of Chicago, just across the boarder, no arbo supply houses that I know of in Kenosha or Racine County.

One thing I've tried for finding semi-local suppliers of stuff, is to go to the manufacturers website, and look at their dealers. Most times the dealers you find will carry more stuff than just the manufacturer you found them through.

It is ok, but not much cheaper then mailorder from the Sherrill catalog.

Arbor supply is a low margin game, they do not always have what you need onhand.
