All you have to do is yank the hard drive, put a desktop IDE adapter on it and plug it into your PC. Easy peasy, and cheap too.

I definetly need to do that. I have alot of good pics I need to get from it. Pics of my dogs as pups that I don't have anywhere else. And of my car. Only reason I had the one I have is from my sig at Mustangforums.

Lol, and yea man, what is an IED? :) Im computer illiterate.

you all talking about stangs??? You don't want to stick a 9 inch in the rear of a cobra but a 8.8 because although the 9 is stronger you loose power with the way it is set up the ring and pinion have too much offset caused by the rear bearing, I prefer whipple super chargers, over kenne bell. but both whipple and kenne are twin screw as opposed to the cobras factory roots. the twin screw is FAR more efficeint and runs cooler. As for the rear gears I like 3.90 ration and short of running dot slicks nothing hooks up on the street with over 500hp. Ive been trying for too long, trust me. My 2000 gt barely hooks my uncles 2006 nope doesn't hook and my ex-brother in law well before he became "EX" i built his 2004 gt nope doesn't hook up either. They take extra good care of the launch pad at E-town to help make cars with slicks hook up and on the street it is near impossible. I would love to get my hands on terminator mustang (03-04) cobra. Id keep the indy rear and just make that my daily driver. The other stangs became just too crazy. My wife doesn't understand my LOVE for all things with a motor. The fella with the banshee, I love me a two stroke quad wether it was my old 250r or my nephews banshee. 350cc of two stroke fun. PS i think we all have a love for guns and motors the other guys that don't love them aren't really men are they??

You're righto buddy. They are junk for drag racing. A set of slicks will destroy them.

If I ever get a '67 fastback heres what I want it to look like:
Has to be black!!!

Ya killin me, man! I'd love to get back into it, but doubt I will.

BTW, 2nd pic is a 65-66 and I do love the model too! :D

I would run 3:90 in any 5spd mustang with a pushrod engine, just as I did in mine. But the 4cam Cobras need a very low gear to take advantage of the high RPM torqueband. Thats JMO though.

Can't afford to run my own, yet (though some very gracious friends have let me make a pass). Me running Dave Thompson, Jr.'s 520ci M in the 5500lb. Div. 3 at the Great Lakes Classic. http://www.pullingnation.exposuremanager.com/p/corunna_saturday_and_sunday_2010/img_6819_55_51

See sig... Tractor pulling is in my blood. Until I can afford it, they compensate me generously to spread the gospel as an announcer most summer weekends and weeknights when I can swing it.

sunfish is right that is a 65-66, you want the 67-68....they came with the FE bigblock stuffed in them:) no replacement for displacement, well forced induction is a great replacement. But anyway I love all three early styles even the 60-70 model fastbacks. My blood bleeds FORD blue I just happen to work for gm, they all break down makes for job security.

Yea they are pretty nice too. I can tell them apart by the front end. I was just posting that pic for the color and rims. ;) I still like the '67 better.

rhe blower gives you incredible low end grunt, i dont feel the tall gears help too much, you can always go to richmond gear and get a custom t56 built with a higher first and then use a very low rear gear though, the 2004 had the tallest first gear in his 3650 tremec and he has 411. though it was a custom richmond trans. I love me the 5.0 but sadly there is only one left in my family, we all have 4.6s now.

I agree, and it's honestly a useless POS IMHO, anyone can drop a big engine in a go cart and make it go fast, it's honestly easy.

Not really my cup of tea but I wouldn't say it's a pos. Different strokes for different folks. If someone enjoys their ride more power to them. I had a guy I work with wouldn't shut up about his new Mustang GT and how his "muscle car" would stomp me in a drag, my car is a poor man's 911, blah blah. Finally one day after work we ran 'em. He stayed with me until 60, by 100 he was disappearing into the rearview mirror quickly. Haven't heard a peep since.

my favorite color! Um yes i speak cobra

Its not that big of an engine, its a 331 LOL, watch the damn video before you call it a useless piece of ####, you might as well say that about your brain if your not gonna use it:)

Big engine no, I was referring to big HP, who really cares? anyone can do that in their garage. Making a vehicle go, stop and turn is the hard part. That car is wasting most of it's power anyway, why have 1100+ HP if you can't use any of it. It's a pointless POS IMHO. All it can do is sit and spin.

Now this is a real car, not just a smoke machine, that pig in the vid could never come close to this car. This all coming from a Ford truck lover lol.

Everything gets the screws turned a little, stock sucks!!!! I had a '86 Suzuki GSXR750 with a built 1100 motor in it. I got tired of that and put a lot of nitrous to it. The best I ran on it was 8.80 at 166 mph, NO BAR!!! The Cummins in my Dodge isn't stock, I just like to hot rod it around... I can't leave anything alone. Oh ya, did I tell you STOCK SUCKS!!!!!

Whats done to the cummins?

I agree, but even better examples are the Nissan GTR and the 911 GT2. Both are faster around the Nurburgring than the ZR-1, despite having engines about HALF the size. There's no replacement for displacement is no longer true. Cutting edge engineering and light weight are much more important.

There is only a couple horsepower difference per rear end of choice, combined with varying hp results of plus or minus a couple of hp per run with not changing anything, I think if you are picking your rear end this way you are thinking too hard.
I went with a Dana 60 in mine...If you wanna hook on the street invest in some delay boxes, 2 step rev limiters, adjustable 4 link, and a little less pedal:laugh:

I agree, but were they all street tuned? I doubt, and what tires did the other cars have?

These are results for stock cars with stock tires. AWD makes a big difference when you're trying to put down 500+HP. The Vette is way more unpredictable at the limit and hard to hook up, from every account I've read. If the Z06 I drove is any indication I can believe it. Not very forgiving. As a matter of fact, the guy who let me drive his totalled it about a year later.
