Sorry, its time to let em go. I reckon I see longhorn holes within the trunk damage.
Start looking for the trees for replacement.
Beware if you are cuttin em down you will need to kill off stumps as well or you have suckers poppin up all over. I have found MCPA or dicamba a good cheap kill for poplars.
