band setter

Anybody use the type of band setter that is sold on ebay? If so, can you explain how it works? What keeps the dial indicator from hanging up on the band when you advance it?

Clint - looks like if you pull the handle back towards you, the pressure comes off the tooth & indicator - Then you push the blade ahead to the next tooth you want to set. I use the Cooks "Catclaw" setter, thats basicly how it works.
