Bar oil reservoir hole. Has anyone ever seen this before?

That's what happens on about all the 350 Husky that look like that. I had one that someone had drilled out and put bigger muffler bolts on, of course that was after the damage.

You can always use heli-coils on them. I'd recommend that to going to bigger bolts. Either way you'd have to drill and tap the holes.

Its very common, and caused by a leaking exhaust gasket, lack of operator maintence, and improperly assembled muffler (100 series saws) easily repaired with some JB.

I've seen guys use red rtv sealant under the muffler area as kind of a preventive measure. Looks like a piece of tin would work better.
