I'm aware that these two insecticides have some level of phototoxicity, but I was wondering if someone could tell me about how toxic they are to trees? For example, could I use arborjet's tree-age insecticide every two years for the remainder of a trees life without any ill effects?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

What species of tree? Ash? I have seen no problems with phytotoxicity in ash...

regardless, the answer to your broader question is technically "no"...you cannot use it without any ill effects. To inject, you have to drill holes. I don't think you can say that drilling holes in a tree every 2 years for perpetuity will have NO ill effect. These holes will be an entry point for rot. However, if minor wounding is what it takes to prevent immediate death, that is a tradeoff that may be worth risking...depending on the situation, etc... If you were asking if you can use it without seeing any phytotoxicity, I think the answer is most likely "yes".
