looking good so far will..... cant wait for the vids... what u doing to the muffler?
I thought the compression would be real high by looking at the size of that chamber. I'm anxious to know where it ends up.....
Thanks for this thread.......I like me some 395XPs.
Have I ever mentioned how much I like mineone of me favourite saws the 395, opcorn:

Oh, well I really love my 395 I'd marry it if I could LOL.I'm pretty sure you've never once mentioned anything of the sort.:msp_razz:
Ok, you guys are confusing me now. Who's saw are we talking about now? If your talking about my pic, I took out .035".
What looks like detonation? Am I missing something here?
Yup they sound like no other!!!! Love em!! This one will be a 100cc 395.
Ya? I only took .035 out, then machined the chamber a little bigger.
I take .020 on the 395 and end up with 220psi. :msp_ohmy:
Oops, I didn't know that, still in the figurin stages of knowing how much to take out of each saw.
Dish out your piston if need be. I don't understand the why, but they say that adds torque, IIRC.

This is a BB 395 kit could have a totally different combustion chamber than oem
The dished piston exposes more area to expanding gasses......
Hopefully it'll be running this weekend. Then we'll see how the comp is.
