Out to the wood patch this morning with the goal of cutting and loading a 16' section of log I left last time so I would have a fair load on the truck. Needed that for traction to pull the butt section, about 14'x39" up off the creekbank. Knew I would need to do a double pull using chains/snatchblocks/cables to quadruple the pull. Got the truck loaded, tossed out 3 sections of cables, two chains and two snatchblocks....WAIT A MINUTE, where is that 3rd snatchblock I need? Mentally pictured it right where I last saw it, hangin on the garage wall. Also mentally pictured myself last night in bed telling my self not to forget it.
Loaded everything back up and departed. Will get it next time I have a reasonable load on (on the truck, not me).
