Bell chain grinder

Iv found a Bell chain grinder for $20 was just wondering if this is a good deal or not. Usually hand file but having a grinder around for damaged chains can't be a bad thing.

If it's a Bell grinder from the 70's/80's, those were excellent. They made both round and square grinders.

Not familiar with the brand, but if it works for $20, it's a pretty low risk to take.

The metal tag on it says model K245 made in Oregon. If that tells you anything. He says it needs a belt.

I can't remember for sure but I think the K245 was a round grinder. The K2 and K2A/B were excellent square grinders that I used in the 90's when I was falling timber.

I'll pick it up and see if I can find a belt to fit. Round grinder is OK with me. I'd like to play with square grind/filed chain someday but for now I just want to fix a rocked chain without fileing forever.

I think my new belt still has the size marked on it, 1/4'' x 20'' maybe? I will go check now. Give me a min.

Here it is in its not cleaned up yet glory. came with a 3/8 and 404 wheels never seen 404 chain in person.
