Best aftermarket piston for Husqvarna 254.

Everyone I've talked to says meteor is the closest you can get to OEM. I have a meteor in one of my saws and a cheap Chinese no name piston in another. Both run great.

I think you’ll find they are both Italian made and very good machined castings. Most folks have more experience with meteor, which is better than say golf or some other Chinese no-name stuff. But Tecomec is very good also: a couple years ago they made cylinders and pistons for Husqvarna 242’s that rivaled OEM.
Both will work fine in my opinion.
