116F here 2 weeks ago, 15 deg higher than previous all time high.
Noticed this morning that western exposures of DFIR have turned brown, nearly all trees exposed to SW and West sun have brown and dropping needles.
Will watch and see if any die.
Suspect any of the big Hemlock so exposed will die.
 
I think it was Del who mentioned earlier that those high temps interfere with photosynthesis.
Saw a video that showed a lot of the shellfish in BC have been killed by the temps also.
