I have a buck model 50 stove. The by-pass lever has been getting stuck closed. I pulled the door out and found some "rust or scale not real sure what to call it" But I cleaned the door of this rust with a bench grinder and wire wheel. Put it back in and it opens and closes real nice. But noticed the door is bowed about 1/8 inch in the center. Is this noraml or did I bend it getting it unstuck adding wood when fire was hot. Some times I had to really hit the lever to get it to open.
