buck skin tamarack

i have about 10 cords of buckskin tamarack. that i pulled out of a clearcut..i had it sitting in my yard and a guy came by and offered me $800.00 for the whole lot....is that a good deal or would it be a better financial decision to sell it by the cord?

Let's see, that's $80 a cord.

Tamarack goes for $200 a cord, split and delivered, in the Moscow-Pullman area, as advertised on CL. Dunno how motivated you are about bucking, splitting, and delivering, but it might be worth an extra $1000 to you.

well I already bucked and split it. i might wait till fall and see if i can get more per cord thanks

It would be a _very_ good deal...for him.

You already have a bunch of labor and time in it and $80 cord is even less than a log truck load per cord would go IIANM.

Run ads and you will get at least $180 cord next fall.
