i recently came upon a load of wood split and stacked curbside. i thought it might be silver maple or elm. anyway, crawling on the pile was a few yellow-jacket looking bugs. they had no wings, and seemed to have a touch of red coloring as well as the black and yellow stripes.its been 2 weeks and they are still on the pile. i dont see any evidence of holes or rot. should i be concerned? thanks,
Zeb
