Just wondering how many OWB owners burn a wood and coal mix. There are several OWB manufactures that say there units will burn both. MY owb did not come with shaker grates which I hear you need in order to burn coal efficiently. But do you need a shaker grate to burn wood and coal mix? Do you need to have more air going into fire box if you burn a mix? Is it more efficient to burn both if you have coal available?
