I decided to open this up yesterday to see what's inside. Kind of pleased actually, I know it won't make for stable full slabs but I will cut turning blocks, billets etc from the 3.5" thick slabs. More photos later today.

I just opened one that was shorter , 6" slabs were heavy . I had to get it up on plastic to slide it down so it could be cut into turning blanks . Those are gonna make nice tables you be careful moving them .

Some nice looking wood there.

Is it juts the photo or does it look like the mill rails are bending in this photo?
