Cannon??

I posted this in the chainsaw forum but I got no play. So I'll ask the guys who run big bars. I just bought a used 54"(58" over all) cannon and was wondering how many DL count it's not stamped on the bar and the seller did not know? Thanks

Cannon made bars for many saws, not always marked brand specific. Your best bet is to take your saw, with bar to a good shop, they will fit a chain to it.

I would say around 180ish drive links with 3/8 chain and 164ish using .404

this is off the top of my head.

Thank you sir. That is what I was afraid of then they will want to sell me a $150 chain when I can buy a reel for $500.

Looked in a Canon bar booklet. It lists the Superbar 54" with H1 mount using 168 dr. links for 3/8 and 153 dr. links for .404.

Nope, they're still there, just bought a 6ft bar off them, two weeks ago.

You need an 8ft pole mounted to the grinder and a ladder to use the grinder.
