Hey guy's

Got my 372xp after taking your advice.
What a machine

Its got a 20" bar and h42 chain (73lp) i think.

Looking to get a another loop ,I under stand the above is full chisel.
Is there any merit in trying the semi chisel type.

I just use round files and file guide. Had a bit of practice with chain sharpening -almost obsessive. All with low profile semi chisel

My application ,general fire wood gathering ,jobs for friends. Wise enough to know when jobs to big.

My wife now taking the piss about men chainsaws and phallic symbols,
but she love's being toasty warm in the winter for free.
She's a good girl.

Three saws now
372xp
141 -needs new piston. Little project for me at some stage
Poulan micro xxv

I think the addiction has set in. There are worse addictions out there though

Cheers
Pete

The semi chisel is for dirty wood, it holds a edge longer than your 73LP full house does in dirty wood. If you are thinking of getting a few extra loops, the semi might be good choice since you do firewood. That **** gets nasty at times. It doesn't throw chips like the full house but is better in a dirty/abrasive enviroment.:dizzy:
