Good day to all. I have a champion 34 ton log splitter I purchased from home depot some years ago and need to replace the engine. I am interested in a Honda engine. Most likely a GX model.
I don't know what shaft length and such I need. Wondering if anyone has done such conversion here and has details that would help on ordering one quickly.

Been a while but i think I just got the data on my engine by looking up the numbers stamped on it on the mfgr site and then started searching other brands by those specs.

I've replaced my Speedco splitters engines with the Predator 420cc 13 hp model. They run really good, electric start versus pull (at 69 it helps). They take a fair amount of abuse. I bought one of the newer 15.5hp models to swap out on the main splitter this winter, upgrading pump to 28 gpm at the same time.
